This week we have settled into more of a routine, and let me say, it feels so good. For starters, I get to walk past this view probably a hundred times a day. Charlotte and I were just talking yesterday about how fantastic it is, and how we will probably never be able to match it. So we decided to be thankful and enjoy it for the next few years.
Charlotte and Henry are wrapping up their first full week of school at Centro Bilingue in Puerto de Santa María. It's a tiny but welcoming bilingual school where they are actually in the same class. I'm not sure how much my kiddos are concerned with learning Spanish, but they both seem to be enjoying it. Henry is tired at the end of the three hours, but now says he loves it. They both look so cute walking down the city street with their book bags. While they will both be attending different schools next year, I'm thankful for this school now. It's giving us routine, a reason to venture into town every day, and a taste of Spanish life.
While they are at school, Cora and I have been working on her napping. She's doing much better, which has allowed me time to take care of fun things like hanging curtains and straightening up. And I feel so much better. We also make frequent runs into the grocery store across the street from the school for fresh bread, red wine, and chocolate.
This weekend is supposed to be beautiful, and we are going to take full advantage. We're also going to keep working on Miss Cora's sleep, moving on to night time slumber. So, wish us luck!
